- Morpheme types are the building blocks for all verbal forms. They consist of root letters
with voweling patterns, prefixes, infixes and suffixes that are governed by Form (I-X), Person (1st,2nd,3rd),
Gender (female, male) and Number (singular, dual, plural) in the desired tempus/modus.
- For these morpheme types we use (f,3,l) of the verb fa3ala as root letters.
- Every tempus/modus (perfectum, indicativus, coniunctivus, apocopatus, imperativus) has its own morpheme types
for every Form. For more on Forms and the morphology of morpheme types,
see FORM.
- Verbal forms are constructed by mapping or projecting the verb's root letters R1, R2 and R3
onto the (f,3,l) of the morpheme types for the Form that is selected.
- Verbs that have hamza, wāw or yā' as root letters (and some others) require the application of additional rules, see
RULE.
- Use the View selector to switch from one modus/tempus to another. Every modus/tempus is also available in
Latin script.
For the transliteration table, see LETTER.
